Bio/CV: 

Indira Martina Morre is a Croatian-American interdisciplinary artist, educator, and curator. Her paintings and other mixed media works focus on art making employed in the service of a socially relevant investigations. Morre received an MFA and BA with a double major in Art History and Art Practice from UC Berkeley. Morre is the recipient of numerous awards including The Harry Ford Lord Award and The Eisner Prize in Art. Her work was exhibited at The Painting Center in New York, A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn, Croatian Association of Artists in Zagreb, Croatia, SFMOMA Artist Gallery, George Lawson Gallery and Cain Schulte Contemporary Art Gallery in San Francisco, Berkeley Art Museum, Berkeley Art Center and Kala Art Gallery in Berkeley, Royal NoneSuch Gallery and Krowswork in Oakland, Green Chalk Contemporary in Monterey, MarinMOCA in Novato, and Richmond Art Center in Richmond, California. She lives in Berkeley, California and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
