Spring 2023 Materials Quik-Grants

Congratulations to the Spring 2023 Materials Quik-Grant Awardees!

Each semester Art Practice majors are invited to submit applications for a $200 grant, and we are pleased to be able to offset materials costs and help so many students in producing their work! Applications are juried by members of Art Practice staff, faculty, graduate students, and alumni. No images of work are requested, and jurors will not be able to see the names of the applicants.

This semester a total of 32 students applied and we were able to award 15 students with $3000 in monetary support, provided to us by the Toombs endowment fund.

The jurors for this round were: Nivedita Madigubba (MFA'24), NIC Kay (Assistant Adjunct Professor), and Farley Gwazda (MFA alum and former Director, Worth Ryder Art Gallery).
