This resource page gives instructions on how to use alt-text accessibility plugins to enable your browser to read the text and images to you, including “alt-text” for audio description of images enabled with alt-text.

For Chrome Users (Mac & PC): Download the chrome extension Screen Reader and enable it. Text will be read aloud as well as alt-text provided for images.

For Mac OS Users: Activate the voice over feature in the System Preferences panel under the Accessibility tab.
