From the Bay Area, Los Angeles-based artist Haleigh Nickerson uses recognizable and invented personas to explore notions of freedom and possibility in the complexities of identity.
Through photography, installation, video, sculpture and performance, her work evokes narratives through real and imagined worlds, playing with expectations and our collective experience of culture.
