Art Practice wishes all graduating students who belong to the Class of 2021 a happy, productive and meaningful future. We will miss you, and we will never forget the many challenges of 2021 we all braved together. We also celebrate five BA students who shared their next steps to Grad School with us:

Jaz Bryant

Jaz Bryant will be graduating from UC Berkeley with a BA in Art Practice, and not one but two minors in Creative Writing and African American Studies. This Fall Jaz Bryant is excited join UC San Diego's MFA program.

Benjamin Fedosky

After a 16 year hiatus, Benjamin Fedosky returned to academia in 2016 to pursue a BA at UC Berkeley. Benjamin Fedosky's time in Art Practice has been filled with material and conceptual experimentation. Fedosky is excited to continue studying sculpture this fall in the Ceramics MFA program at Temple's Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia.

Catherine Hsu

Catherine Hsu will be heading to CalArts this fall for their MFA program in Arts & Technology, with a concentration in Integrated Media! Catherine Hsu learned so much in the Art Practice program here at UC Berkeley about their own art-making and absolutely loved the art community here — Catherine Hsu’s practice has grown so much in the past four years, and she is really excited to see where CalArts takes her from here.

Camron King

Camron King will be going to NYU for their art therapy Masters program this fall.

As someone who is deeply passionate about art’s ability to heal, becoming an art therapist felt like the next natural endeavor for Camron King to pursue after studying art practice and social welfare at Cal. Camron King is greatly looking forward to entering NYU’s Art Therapy Masters program this Fall and learning how to competently utilize art as a therapeutic method for uplifting those affected by trauma.

Elianna Ku

Elianna Ku will be attending Johns Hopkins this fall for their Computer Science Masters program. Pursuing to become a technical artist, Elianna is excited to expand more on her art practice by utilizing codes in her future works and endeavors!

Xiaotan Yang

Xiaotan Yang's future plan is to keep studying and exploring art and design. Yang will set up their own brand for people to live a happier life.

Please let us know if you would like to add your story to this post, and best wishes to the Class of 2021!
