Many amazing pieces created by our seniors are currently on display! Maddie Griffith based her lightbox piece Left Unattended on the reclamation of nature in a world where humans mysteriously disappear. Her piece features layered wooden laser cutouts of buildings and nature illuminated by a background light.

During an interview she stated that her pieces are very “to the point” and simple. She also spoke on her medium as a completed culmination of her artistic efforts at Berkeley.

Graduating in the Fall, Maddie has definitely made her mark here in the art department, be sure to see her work and pieces from many other of our extremely talented seniors during the exhibition which closes this Thursday, December 12th!
