The concept of the figure in art has long represented our histories and identities, and provides a way to document the motives, beliefs, and power structures of a society or individual. Figurative Realities aims to broaden the narrative of the figure, offering a lens through which the viewer is immersed into the lived experiences of the artists and their personal intersections. This group exhibition intends to examine individual vulnerabilities, family histories, self exploration, and cultural identities.
