Eligible undergraduate Art Practice majors are invited to submit short project proposals to support immediate cost of art supplies and materials for one or more Art Practice classes. Individual grants will be awarded in the range of $150 - $200, with a total grant disbursement of approximately $3000 each semester. Funds will be distributed about two weeks after the deadline. Applications will be juried by members of Art Practice staff, faculty, and undergraduate alumni. No images of work are requested, and jurors will not be able to see the names of the applicants.
HISTORY OF THE MATERIALS QUIK-GRANT:
Started in Spring 2021, this grant is offered each semester, and provided with a generous endowment by the Toombs Fund. To date, over $11,000 has been awarded to almost 60 undergraduate Art Practice majors.
