MFA Program Online Information Session

This is an online informational event about applying to the UC Berkeley Art Practice Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) Program.

The Department of Art Practice at UC Berkeley offers a two-year MFA Degree headed by our faculty of internationally-recognized artists, and enriched by a roster of affiliate faculty from multiple departments across campus. UC Berkeley’s Art Practice MFA program is committed to artistic innovation and intellectual rigor. The program aims to broaden the productive, conceptual, and critical faculties of students in their pursuit of careers as professional artists.

During this session, Professors Anne Walsh and Asma Kazmi, along with some current MFA graduate students will go over the program, curriculum requirements, information about graduate studios at the Richmond Field Station, and the breadth of resources available to our students. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the application requirements and the program. The application can be found here.
