Handing Off: Art in Pandemic Times is a mail art exhibition hosted online at the Worth Ryder Art Gallery at the University of California, Berkeley. 45 pieces of art were mailed around the world from one artist to another, in an effort to find community during a time of social distance and isolation.

Artists who received a piece of mail art were invited to alter, remove, edit, or add to the artwork, creating a new collaboration - and new work of art - while never meeting their collaborators in person. The process repeats itself as the work passes from the hands of one artist to another.

Artists were asked to document their work, and images have been upload to www.handingoff.art
