Cacophonies of Resistance

We’re starting off the new year and the new semester with new work by the amazing MFA Cohort of 2024 which includes Salimatu Amabebe, Anamaya Farthing-Kohl, Valencia James and Nivedita Madigubba. All four artists present their new work as a form of resistance, but also of reimagination. The opening reception on Wednesday Jan 18, 2023 from 4-7 will include a live performance by Valencia James. A catalog of the show is forthcoming.

The venue for this show is the Worth Ryder Gallery inside the Anthropology and Art Practice Building, at the South Gate of the UC Berkeley campus.
