It/Qué at Platform Artspace

IT POSTER square

Platform Artspace has a new artist-in-residence: It/Qué. Throughout the month of October, the large-scale sculpture, It/Qué, will be available for public interaction at Platform Artspace during open hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-4pm. Created by current graduate student in Art Practice, Anamaya Farthing-Kohl, It/Qué is a social sculpture that inspires curiosity and play.

From Farthing-Kohl: It is a project for participation. It is a producer-place: a space temporized by actions, a place of exchange, a place for dialog, a place to materialize understanding. Through experience, repetition and time, it’s meanings unfold. During it’s time at Platform, It will be in circulation, you can’t check out it just like a book from the library.

It is the nucleus of a network of connected parts, it is a place for contemplation, it is full of potential your interactions with it realize it’s potential.
