MFA Open Studios

The Richmond Field Station, a bayshore outpost of UC Berkeley, is normally closed to the public. But on Saturday, March 26, 2022, the gates are open for the MFA Open Studios 2022.

Because of COVID, we could not celebrate this event for three years. This intrinsically East Bay art studio tour marks the end of three winters! Please join us on Saturday, March 26, between noon and 7:27 PM, when the sun sets over the Golden Gate, and visit the studios of 13 award-winning MFA artists and get a preview of what they are working on as they prepare for their BAMPFA shows in May or pursue their distinctive creative research. This year, the unique tour at the Richmond Field Station includes the studios of:

Postgraduate Fellow:
Fred deWitt (MFA 2021)

Class of 2022:

Ahn Lee
Edgar Fabian Frias
Erica Deeman
Hala Kaddoura
Kavena Hambira
Rivka Louissaint

Class of 2023:
Eniola Fakile
Fei Pan
Gericault De La Rose
Irma Yuliana Barbosa
Juniper Harrower

Refreshments will be served. There is no direct public transportation to the Richmond Field Station. Access to the Richmond Field Station via the gate will be staffed. Please indicate to the staff that you are here for the Open Studios.
