Michelle Ott lives and works in Oakland, California. Her artworks include photographs, books, drawings, illustrations, quilts, zines, and a Postcard Machine (Possibly from the Future). One of her primary sources of influence is the 22 non-consecutive months she has spent living and working at McMurdo Station Antarctica. She has studied at UC Berkeley (MFA, 2015), Minneapolis College of Art and Design (BFA, 1999) and Parsons Paris. Her works have been exhibited and published nationally and internationally most recently in the Bay Area at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the Berkeley Art Museum.
