Masako Miki is a mixed media artist whose work inspired by nature, animal, and their relationship. She builds a fictional context to envision mysticism from the ordinary. Miki has exhibited at numerous galleries throughout the Bay area including solo exhibitions at K. Imperial Fine Arts in San Francisco and other exhibitions at Headlands Center for the Arts, and The Wassaic Project in New York. She is a nominee for the 2010 and 2012 SECA Art Award from San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In 2014, Miki was an invited artist at Project 387 residency in California, andKamiyama Artist in Residence Program in Tokushima, Japan. Miki is a native of Japan and now lives and works in Berkeley. She received her MFA from San Jose State University. Miki is represented by CULT Gallery in San Francisco.
