Sweet Wong is Associate Professor in the Department of English and Chair of the Department of Art Practice.  She writes about and teaches autobiography, Native American literatures, ethnic American literatures, and visual studies.  Currently, she is revising a book manuscript, tentatively entitled Look Here! Readings of Contemporary American Interart Autobiography.  Combining approaches from autobiography studies and visual studies, she argues that grappling with the breakdown of identity and representation, late 20th-century writers and artists experiment with innovative interart autobiographical forms in an attempt to challenge and convey ever contingent and shifting identities. » read more »
