The UC Berkeley Department of Art Practice is pleased to present The Fall 2016 Senior Thesis Exhibition, featuring the artwork of 23 student artists enrolled in Prof. Asma Kazmi and Prof. Anne Walsh’s Senior Projects seminar

This departmental tradition challenges each student to create a fully realized body of work that reflects their own personal interests, conceptual concerns, and material research. This exhibition is an opportunity for them to present their work to their peers and the greater community in the gallery context, and represents the culmination of their undergraduate studies in the studio arts.

More than a collection of individual works, this exhibition provides a window into the struggles and aspirations of a generation at a critical time in their lives, and is a reflection of this contemporary moment.

Please join us for an Artist Talk from noon to 1pm on Monday, December 5th. The artists will be speaking about their work.
