In response to a competitive, campus-wide open call for work, UC Berkeley Students proposed an artwork or project for exhibition in the Worth Ryder Art Gallery in reaction to the following prompt:
“In the year leading up to the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution of 1917, we are considering how the groundwork was laid for this radical change, the role of artists in the revolution, and the relevancy of these events to today’s struggles.”
