Let the Tool Do the Work – The 2017 UC Berkeley Department of Art Practice Exhibition is a recent works show featuring our faculty and staff.

This exhibition presents artworks and the tools used in their creation. Importantly, it blurs this distinction by asking the viewer to see the artwork itself as a tool.

How can we make use of these tools? What new possibilities do they afford? How do the tools change their users and their relationship to the world?

Masako Miki, 2017.
