The Worth Ryder Art Gallery is pleased to present it’s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine), an exhibition by the students of Professor Allan deSouza’s Advanced Photography Class.

The title of this exhibition, from R.E.M.’s 1987 single, offers an apocalyptic vision with a subtle twist. It might be doomsday, but then again, it might not be. And isn’t there still the possibility of happiness? Inspired by this theme, the artists demonstrate a wide variety of approaches to image making. Exploring the possibilities of process, concept, and installation technique, they share their investigations of the rapidly evolving medium of photography.

Meng Nick Luo, “Dual”, Digital Photograph, 2014.
